Since 2006, Med-Scribe has provided our system affiliate, Parkway Medical Center, with impeccable service, excellent documentation quality, and solid technology with zero interruption to patient care.

During this time, we have also used the transcription services of several local companies and a large national provider of transcription and voice recognition technology. When we started experiencing poor customer service and issues with repeated downtime from these other vendors, sometimes for days on end, it became apparent that Med-Scribe had proven itself over and over to be a company that we could count on and expand our relationship with.

In 2013, after careful analysis and reviewing historical data, we determined Med-Scribe could save our facility over $200K annually by providing the Decatur Morgan, Parkway, and Decatur West Campuses with a back-end speech recognition model blended with Med-Scribe’s U.S. labor. Implementation was extremely smooth with no physician complaints and our plans are to continue expanding our relationship with Med-Scribe into other departments such as Radiology and Pathology as well onto other campuses within our system ACO this year.
