John Langley, CPA

President & Chief Executive Officer

John has been involved in the healthcare services industry for more than twenty-five years. He founded Med-Scribe Information Systems, Inc. and has served as a director and as CEO since April 1992. John also founded Langley & Associates, PA, a full-service certified public accounting firm, and served as its managing partner from 1989 to 2006. Prior to Med-Scribe, John served as Director and CFO of Medical Management Resources, Inc., a provider of outsourced coding services. As President & CEO John provides corporate leadership for all facets of the company and is most concerned with the satisfaction of his customers. John received his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Florida.

Lori Eytel Langley, RHIA

Vice President, HIM Services

Lori has more than twenty-nine years of experience in HIM. She joined Med-Scribe in 2003 after serving as Executive Director for the Florida Health Information Management Association for over nine years. Prior to joining Med-Scribe, Lori was the Assistant Director of Health Information Management at the Naples Community Healthcare System. While with NCH she was instrumental in developing and implementing the hospitals clinical data repository and electronic medical record system. Lori is an active member of the Florida Health Information Management Association (FHIMA) as well as the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Lori has served in several different capacities for both FHIMA and AHIMA. In 2002, she received the Distinguished Service Award and in 1993 she received the Outstanding New Professional from FHIMA. Lori obtained a bachelor's degree in Medical Record Administration from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY.

Bill Langley

Vice President, Operations

Bill joined the Med-Scribe team in 1994 and has been in the medical industry for over twent-three years. Bill operates and maintains the back bone of Med-Scribe, the technical system, which is located in Jacksonville, FL. Prior to joining Med-Scribe Bill served as Senior Mechanical Engineer for the Naval Aviation Depot in support of Navy F/A-18 and A-6E Avionics Weapons Attack Systems. Bill continues to serve in many community leadership roles, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and on ASTM International Boards that are charged with reviewing existing industry standards and developing new standards related to healthcare.

Mike Irwin

Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Mike began his career in the medical transcription industry in the 1980's with Lanier Worldwide. In 1992, he started his own transcription service, Pro-Scribe, Inc. and later acquisitioned other regional services before selling his combined operation to CyMed, Inc. in 2004 to form the industry's 3rd largest transcription service. As a regional president for CyMed, Mike was in charge of the Southeast regional office which was selected region of the year in 2006. Since that time, Mike has held Marketing and Sales Management positions with some of the largest and most respected medical transcription companies in the U.S. With over twenty-five years of experience, Mike understands the success factors, workflow processes, and integration strategies demanded by today's healthcare documentation industry.
